Did you hear about this kid? :evillaugh: Star Wars Kid. This 15 year old was goofing off at a school video studio and recorded himself fighting a mock battle with a golf ball retriever lightsaber. His friends found the video and uploaded it-- and it's now caused an internet frenzy. Click here for the website -- and be sure to check out the over SEVENTY clone videos people have done. Version 2 is hilarious!!! Oh -- and have your sound on ;)

It's Friday! Finally! What a long week this has been .... I thought the weekend would never get here. We don't have any plans other than a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers concert tomorrow night. It's being held at an outdoor amphitheatre and although we have reserved seats I'm still hoping for no rain. We've had rain every day this week, and even with seats its just going to make the whole thing yucky if its raining. Our summer has been strange here. I don't think we've had more than 3 days of successive nice weather. We've had really bad rain and thunderstorms at least twice a week almost all summer. Finding time to mow the lawn is difficult because the grass seems to always be wet -- so when we have two days in a row with no rain, we're outside trying to get all this stuff done that we can't do in the rain. Ugh. I remember when we moved here almost three years ago (three years! wow! time flies!) -- I wondered why I had never heard that Nashville gets a lot of rain. Whew. At least we all have green lawns and lush plants :) Did you read about Ted Williams body being cryogenically preserved? I don't know if technology might eventually figure out how to restore life to someone who has died and been frozen. But I do think there is a better chance of doing it if his HEAD is still ATTACHED. How is that supposed to work? That means they've got to figure out how to bring him back to life AND reattach his head and solve the whole spinal cord severed problem. Not likely. How could you let yourself get to this state? I can't imagine. Was I the only girl growing up who every time I got in a swimming pool would do handstands and try to do other things .... and think it would be kinda neat to do synchronized swimming? And this is all I have to say about this week's Cupid. Robert. Huh????? Hank. Awwww!!!!!!

OK, I'm blogging. Happy Susie and Kelly? I told you guys I feel like a loser when I have nothing to blog about. But here I am. Blogging. About Nothing. Still no news on the house offer. We do know there are three offers on the house -- and they all must be pretty similar because the crappy bank that owns the house is having a tough time making a decision. Jeff was supposed to go by the bank today (because its located in Texas) and give them the third degree and basically hold them up til they give us the house. I haven't heard a report from him yet -- hopefully he made it out alive :) And now for a little fun :) Enjoy !! This is hilarious, but if it works ....... This is just plain weird. A couple of, ahem, nutbags with too much, uh, time on their hands. And this is a neat new search engine ... very "graphically enhanced" -- worth a look just to see something different. The way it displays the search results is different from any other search engine I've ever seen!! However, it's not the best when you're actually LOOKING for something. This is naughty -- and not for the youngsters. Similar to the rose sculpture in NYC that Rae posted at her site a while back... hehe Scary. I wonder how big their donations will be next year? LOL Geez are people really THIS stupid??? What's wrong with this picture? (Keep your sound at a normal level & move your mouse over the following photograph to see what is wrong in the picture. A "click" will be heard when you find the defect!)
