No Friday Five?! I went to the site this afternoon and all it's got is a countdown. Strange. Steve's getting all excited about the World Cup. We've got the schedule posted on the fridge -- and he's going to be getting up in the middle of the night to watch the ENGLAND matches. Unbelieveable win today by Senegal against France. Wow! It will be interesting to see how well the US team does. Steve thinks soccer (he calls it football of course) is going to start getting more and more popular here as the youngsters playing it now grow up. It's really big with the teeny kids -- so I guess when they get to be adults, they'll still want to be playing -- so maybe some "big leagues" will be set up. Who knows! For now ... there's only one football in the US :) My parents and brother/sister in law are staying with us next week the night before they leave for Hawaii -- their flight is at 5:00 AM and they didn't want to have to drive the 3 hours up here that morning. Soooo we've got some houseguests. One day we're going to have to buy a guest bedroom suite. Hey for that matter one day we're going to actually have to buy a MASTER bedroom suite. We're waiting til we buy a house though -- so we don't bang it around a lot moving from place to place. Anyway, I digress. So they're coming up next week -- and then will be in Hawaii for 8 days. I've never been there - so it will be great to hear all about it. I'm going to go work on Steve's flash intro for his soccer site. He's been bugging me about it all evening -- better get to it!
