USA Today's "25 Books that leave a legacy" ... (only looking at books from the past 25 years) including:
Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone (for obvious reasons)
The Da Vinci Code (on the list basically for it's controversy)
And the Band Played On (excellent book ... excellent movie)
Bridget Jones's Diary (interesting choice ... though their reasoning makes sense)
Left Behind (surprised this made the list ... but I agree)
Fast Food Nation (a definite must read for everyone)
... and more. A few on the list that I haven't read are now on my library hold list.
