Not Frog-like enough for me.

I saw Umbridge in a totally different way in my head. I think this is the first time when I have been *totally* disappointed with the casting in Harry Potter. I've been pretty pleased with everyone up until now; she is just *not* AT ALL what I had in my head. :( Shorter. Wider, shorter face. Definite frog features. I think I saw Zelda Rubinstein in my head ... Imelda Staunton just is not doing it for me.

I'm completely with you on this.

Not only Umbridge, but her office as well.

It sort of typifies my problem with the casting & set decoration for the films. (Not ALL the casting, mind, but some--especially the DADA teachers. And Dumbledore Mark II)

They seem to sanitise to give the "movie version" of casting & set decoration. It makes me wonder seriously if some of these people have even read the books.
