Last night was the season finale. We finally learn the truth behind all the mysteries this season. :pi: If you haven't watched it yet, don't read the extended entry. It'll ruin your viewing pleasure of the finale.
Thoughts:
- We all knew as soon as the Kanes told Duncan that he killed Lilly -- that he didn't. It was pretty obvious that he found Lilly - and his parents just assumed he had a "fit" and killed her and they covered it up. He was in shock from finding his sister -- and had blocked the memory.
- I didn't believe at any time that Logan killed her. But I did figure last week that the cameras Veronica found were going to come in handy eventually.
- So, here's what I think went down between Weevil and Logan. Right before their meetup on the bridge - we see Veronica trying to reach Logan on his cell phone and she doesn't get him. I think she then called Weevil to let him know what was going down -- and asked him to find Logan. They're showing it on the screen like Weevil and his gang are going to torture him or something -- but I think it's just a season finale cliffhanger thing. Maybe I'm dreaming ...
- And I don't think it's Duncan at V's door. He wasn't thrilled when he saw her when his dad and Aaron Echolls were getting arrested. He's still got some issues there.
- I'm waffling between it being Logan or Wallace at the door. Part of me thinks its probably Wallace -- she needs a friend right then. And of course it can only be Logan if the above scenario between him and Weevil is true. Otherwise Logan is lying bleeding and broken under the bridge. Not a happy thought.
- When Keith was in the conference room with the Kanes and they said V had to sign away rights to the Kane fortune, I knew then that the results of the paternity test were in and Keith was her father. What a great scene where V signs the papers without a second thought; great acting on both their parts. Sweeeet! I'm so glad she's actually his daughter.
- Lianne. Ugh. What a total loser!!!! And I couldn't BELIEVE she stole the $50,000 check! She already wasted V's college money -- and now she takes away this too!
- Lily and V at the end on the floats; Lily was a bit cryptic. Need to watch that again.
- Aaron Echolls. Good choice for the murderer. Someone we didn't really suspect -- but so obvious looking back. What a creepy scary ... seeing his face in the rear view mirror; when he threw the lighter to ignite the gas -- ugh.
- Left to wonder: the letter from Logan to Lilly? the secret message pen that Weevil stole from Lilly's room? why did Weidman run Lianne out of town?
Good season finale. So glad this got renewed and given a chance!
Why would I sign away all rights to the fortune for q mere $50,000? That doesn't even make any sense. Ask for a million (or two)?
Too many options for who might be at the door...
I want it to be Logan at the door.

I don't know, I could see it easily being Duncan. They had a clear chemistry again at the Kanes' party... that doesn't mean I want it to be him, though, and it probably isn't. I mean, his best friends dad killed his sister. I don't think it's Logan either. Despite his apparent dislike for his dad, I think it's going to take a little to come to terms with the fact that his father killed his girlfriend. That his father had sex with his girlfriend. I don't think the first thing he'd do would be run to Veronica... could be wrong. My money is on Wallace. It'd be romantic if it were Duncan or Logan, but it just seems unlikely...
Can you imagine if that'd been the series finale, though? I would've been highly irritated and frustrated!! I can't wait for next season. Veronica Mars edged ahead of Alias for me this year, but that may be because I am SO disgusted and bored with Alias right now... :crying:
Wiedman ran Lianne out of town because she was a witness contradicting the Kanes' alibis. Right? The whole hotel room thing with Lianne asking Jake to call off the wife from harming Veronica (because Veronica was a possible heiress to the Kane fortune). And the Kanes needed ALL their alibis to stand, I'm sure.
I am like 99.9 percent positive it will be :heartbeat:Dunan:heartbeat: at the door. Cuz I have been readin spoilers and like logan will be like with weevil and felix and get inta the fite and rob thomas already said that its either duncan or logan!!!:duh: :thumbsup:
I know for sure who it is .. reading all the spoilers .. i would have thought it would have been wallace he make the most sence .. but **SPOILER** i read on a site that it was either logan or duncan, and then on another that their was a clue.. that in the last seen the clock says 3:07 and upside down its .. LO gan E colls ..so it's logan yee!

It's prolly gonna be Gary like if you think about it hes always there when Veronica needs him the most and i really think veronica and gary should date it would be so cute:hug: and omg even though Duncan is kinda phsyco he and veronica are really cute together like logan is ok but not really for veronica like hes to.... i dunno how to put it um...bad i guess hes an alchi to
