Dell Renigs

I have to send it back. :crying:

Can you believe it? Two weeks ago, they said it was their mistake, keep it. Today I get a letter from them requesting that I return it. I guess my sales rep's decision was overturned. I've already installed all my programs and gotten it all set up. I've been working on it for two weeks. Blah. Oh well ... it wasn't ever really mine in the first place, right ?? :weep:

That sucks. :worried:

Oh wow, now that surprises me. What a pain in the butt now that you have to uninstall everything.

That really blows.

man, call your rep and yell. orrrr - pretend you never got the letter. that blows :(

Wow. How rude of them. No wonder we don't do business with Dell anymore. Their customer service has gone to :censor:

Sorry you got such a rotten deal. It totally sucks!

Yeah my rep isn't too happy about it - it basically makes him look kinda useless! I'm just not going to worry about it though ... I just wish they had not let me keep it to start with. At least then I wouldn't have gotten everything set up and moved over to that machine. I've spent the last day setting up another machine with all my programs and files. Fun stuff. As for uninstalling that machine - I'm just going to completely wipe the hard drive with my handy fdisk. I'm sure they can ghost the OS and Dell-included programs when they get it back.

Blah.
