**Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched it yet** I love this show. The first 5 minutes grabbed you ... what is Syd doing? Then she speaks and I have a total
Sark gets captured - again - and he is just so cute. And did you catch his line about seeing Lauren dressed up as Sydney was somehow hot for him (or something to that effect?) Sark and Sydney have great onscreen chemistry - their scenes together are always good. And why is it that he is so bad and yet I almost felt bad for him when Faux-Lauren (Syd) came in and was feeling his battered face?
Nadia going off with Sloane is obviously the beginning of the conflict between The Chosen One (Syd) and The Other One (Nadia) -- lol. As in, Nadia brings about Rambaldi's eventual plan - and we can be sure that will lead to a bloody battle between Syd and Nadia.
So now we know why Jack was pushing so hard for Vaughn to get rid of Lauren ... it wasn't only for Sydney and Vaughn's sake. It was for his own sake -- to protect the secret he's had. Is Jack Covenant? Did Jack and Irina have Syd for the sole purpose of raising a spy? What's the deal?
I loved Syd and Vaughn kissing at the end after he finally killed stupid Lauren. It just showed how unimportant she was to them. (Oh and the line to Lauren -- "I hate you .. but I love Sydney more - and thats the only reason you're not dying tonight". Yes! He wasn't going to kill Lauren - because he knew it would hurt Sydney.)
Ok well - I think they're going to get back on track for next season. Lauren is dead (and hopefully she'll stay that way). And Syd and Vaughn can be together without being the focus of the show - so all in all - I'm a happy camper.
Alias won't be back until January though - however, it will be for an uninterrupted season - so that will rock.
