What a week. I've been slammed all week long with work. In addition to my normal website work (big project due on deadline next week , and I'm still missing 4 articles from different contributors ), I've had two new machines to add to the network here - which should have been a piece of cake, except someone ordered them with XP home instead of XP Pro, so I had to redo the entire disk with XP and then reinstall all the drivers and blah blah blah. We're also busy trying to keep everything up to date what with all the viruses and worms out there being on the rise recently. Do these hackers not have anything better to do? Couldn't they be working on something more productive? Like code to help the fight for cancer or something? :yell: I don't know -- anything better than working so hard on something just to cause chaos? What is the point? Oh well.

Watched Gangs of New York last night. Not sure what all the fuss was about. THat was a 1 1/2 hour movie stretched into a 3 hour movie. It was an ok movie -- but I'm glad I didn't waste my money and see it on the big screen. Thank goodness for netflix!

Heh. I think I've had that same argument as you had with that guy about the passwords a billion times with people. I feel your pain. :arg:

I hate changing passwords every 2 -3 months. I can never remember them and just resort to incrimenting a number on the end of the password every time. But then I forget the number and wind up locking my account. Frustrating.

Sasha ... people drive me batty

Jeff ... :soapbox: but I doubt you would argue with your network administrator about it? Hey it annoys me too -- but I realize the necessity of it and would never dream of arguing with the administrator about the validity of it. This guy wanted me to make an exception for him -- change the rules because he didn't think it was necessary. Blah blah. I told him sorry, that's the way it is, you'll have to deal with it. I think that's the first time I've EVER had to say something like that to anyone.

Sorry it's been so crazy at work. Those weeks suck. :scared:
