TGIF! I'm in Cleveland now - here for my college sorority reunion. The whole university is having Homecoming this weekend with lots of class reunions ... but thank goodness I haven't been OUT of college long enough to actually have a class reunion. I'm not that old. LOL It will be great to see some of my sorority sisters though .... there are several of them that I haven't seen since graduation. We've emailed, talked on the phone, etc -- but haven't physically seen each other. It will be nice to catch up with everybody!
Thanks to Addie for the very cool Halloween fansign treat :) Last night I went to the downtown block party here in Cleveland -- they have free food, bands playing, all the kiddies and lots of adults are all dressed up in costumes, and it's just generally a pretty good time. It was nice to see some familiar faces that I haven't seen for a while.
It's a weird feeling when you finally realize that the place you grew up isn't really your HOMEtown anymore. It is only recently that I consider Nashville to be my home -- I always considered Cleveland my home. All my family is still in Cleveland -- and when I would come and visit, I always thought of it has "going home". Now -- I just think of it as visiting family. I don't really know the town anymore ... so much has changed. It is still nice to come here and be with friends and family -- but I think I finally think of Nashville as my home. Soooo on that sappy note ... I will be going HOME on Saturday night! Later!
