Anybody else out there live in a place where it CONSTANTLY rains? Grrr ... rain every once in a while is ok and sometimes even WELCOME. Rain every single day is really annoying and frustrating. Yuck.
One more gripe ... Don't you hate it when you have a friend who suddenly starts with one of those "selling schemes"? I have a friend who has started up with this new "opportunity" (read: crap) and of course they are encouraged to get other people involved ... kinda like a pyramid scheme or something. I have NO interest in doing this and have NO time to do it either. It's just annoying because now I'm dreading talking to her because I know she's going to be asking me about it again. Grrrrrrr.
Not much going on with me this week. Lots going on with everybody around me though.
-- One of my friends got engaged and she's sooooo excited - and so she should be. She and her boyfriend have been dating for almost EIGHT years! It's about time he got around to asking her!! Congrats to Wendy :)
-- My grandmother had a catscan this morning ... she was having some stomach pain. I talked with her this afternoon and its diverticulitis -- and so she's on lots of antibiotics and hopefully will be feeling better ASAP.
-- My grandfather is having surgery on Friday ... it's minor and is mainly just to check and make sure that his cancer isn't back (he had bladder cancer last year ... and has been cancer-free for about 8 months now ... and every few months they have to do surgery to go in and make sure there aren't any tumors or growths.)
-- My sister-in-law had an ultrasound this week and she said they could actually SEE the baby's arms and legs. Awwwww. My little neice/nephew is growing just fine :) Hope she got a picture and we can see it.
