Slept really late this morning -- it feels so good to just lay in bed sometimes andknow you don't have anything to do, anywhere to be, anybody to see, etc. Not sure what we'll get up to today -- probably just go out, get some lunch and look around B&N or Best Buy. My husband is like that guy in the Circuit City commercial -- you know when the guy and girl go in, and he's like staring at everything and then just runs off into the store. It's hilarious because that's exactly what Steve is like -- he LOVES going into places like Best Buy, CompUSA, Circuit City, etc. (Although I will admit that those places are some of my favorites as well ... LOL).
Yesterday I got a bunch of the cute little Business Card CD-R's -- they are REALLY cool looking and I'm going to burn a bunch of that size to start handing out to clients. They look really "futuristic".
Seven Things You'd Buy / Do if You Won the $100 million Jackpot (I'm mainly talking about indulgences here)
1. Buy a new house for us and my parents. Pay off our bills and be sure both my parents could retire.
2. Buy a vacation home in England - so that we could visit with Steve's family (and Europe) whenever we wanted.
3. Buy an airplane/jet -- and hire a pilot. That way we could travel whenever and wherever we wanted.
4. Obviously we want to travel a lot.
5. Build a hospital for cancer patients - set up kinda like an apartment complex. The families could stay with them at all times. The patients would have the best doctors and nurses -- and no insurance is necessary.
6. Buy Steve's football (soccer) team in England -- he's always said that is what he wants to do if he wins a lot of $$. Soooo I'm putting it on my list :)
7. Invest the rest of they money that is left -- and then live off the interest for the rest of our lives.
Questions like that always make me feel so selfish ... but it's not like you can support everybody in the world with only $100 million dollars. After the government finishes with it, you'll get around $50 million. Anyway ... going to get lunch.
