So far, my day has been pretty busy. My goal for the morning: finding a decent rental car deal in Europe. My husband is from England and we're going over to Europe to visit with his family (and do a little touring) in just under three weeks. I've never been to Europe so I am getting more and more excited as the trip gets closer. Steve is just glad to be going home for a bit to see his family, a football (soccer) game, and show me around a bit. I think he's excited that I am finally going to get to see where he grew up. I can't wait!
Back to the rental car.... I am a total American and don't know how to drive a stick-shift. EVERYONE in England drives a stick-shift - they hardly have ANY automatic transmission cars. They also drive on the left side of the road. Steering wheels are on the right side of the car. My husband of course is used to driving on the wrong side of the road with the steering wheel on the wrong side (I ALWAYS kid him about us being on the RIGHT side of the road -- and that even though their country has been in existence eons longer than the US -- it has to be them that are driving on the wrong side. hehe). Anyway -- I'm trying to at least find an automatic transmission car -- so that I can do a little bit of driving during our stay.
This afternoon I'll be working with a client -- trying to get their website completed. We've been working on it for about a month and a half now -- and I'm ready to finish up the project. Hopefully we will make some headway this afternoon.
I'm off to lunch now. Bellacino's maybe? (grilled sandwiches - I always get a pizza grinder - yummmmmy!)
